Growing up in Denmark, I've had an extremely blessed upbringing. However, a part of me felt displaced and I had difficulties fitting in and complying with certain rules as a kid. Often times, I would actually go out of my way to do the exact opposite of what many adults, including my parents, wanted of me. I was be a bit of a troublemaker really, seeking conflicts throughout my childhood.

In my later years as an adult, coming to "realize" both cultures from which I come from, both the Danish as well as the Greenlandic, has helped me label the feelings I felt as a child, cherishing both cultures even more. It was difficult, looking apart and feeling different from my peers but without really knowing why. The impact of realizing there was another half of me I hadn't reconciled with has stayed in me through my passion for people, places and cultures.
My interest for people, places and culture in synchrony with my passion for art, illustration, and photography guide me in my creative journey as I study Architectural Engineering at Aalborg University. Here, I constantly seek to develop my skill set in this multi disciplinary profession, pushing the boundaries for what I design and what the craft demands.
