Framework
Framework centers on creating a co-housing settlement situated on Sorthøj in Aalborg, Denmark. The project creates a community between two distinctive user groups: The nuclear family and residential institutions for distressed children, called “living offers” (directly translated from the Danish terminology “botilbud”). Adopting principles of Participatory Design the project places emphasis on fostering a socially- and environmentally sustainable settlement within a trans-scalar approach to the design of a community, designing directly with the end user.
